Follow University Physicians Patient Accounts written procedures to post denials to patient accounts

Responsibilities:

* To work all assigned task lists, emails daily
* Work and resolve all incoming mail from post office box, clinics and other departments
* Ability to analyze, determine denial and post all incoming denial correspondence from our bank with a minimum of 98% accuracy rate
* Ability to scan and index all documentation related to correspondence and EOBs with a minimum of 98% accuracy rate
* Ability to process the mailing of monthly letters to patients
* Ability to analyze complex account
* Make phone calls to patients when appropriate
* Complete all job responsibilities following written procedures
* Complete various projects or assignments as assigned by Supervisor
* All duties as assigned
*This position is eligible for University Physicians Work From Home program.

Shift

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired. Two (2) years of clerical experience; education may be used in lieu of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in patient accounts, medical office, or bookkeeping. Effective communication, time management, analytical, and computer skills. Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Hiring Range: $14.80 - $23.32/hour
Grade: PAT-004
University Title: PATIENT ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE, NON-CLINICAL
