Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager for the EPASS Contract, supporting the Air Force. The Program Manager will provide program support to The Three Dimensional Long Range Radar program. The 3DELRR TPY-4 is designed to serve as the organic radar for the U.S. Air Force Control and Reporting Center (CRC) Weapon System (WS), providing the capability to perform long-range detection of both aircraft and theater ballistic missiles. The 3DELRR employs a single-face, rotating, active electronically scanned array (AESA) with a highly istributed and scalable digital beam-forming architecture.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD OR, seven years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, five of which must be in the DoD.
  • Secret Clearance and U.S. Citizenship required for all applicants
  • Comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.02 and 5000.75, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure Division leadership has accurate, credible information to prepare for Program Executive Officer (PEO) meetings, Division meetings and other meetings as required.
  • Develop program reports in accordance with policy and direction, to include PEO Activity Reports (PARs) and Monthly Acquisition Reports (MARs) via System Metric and Reporting Tool (SMART).
  • Support Branch and program level meetings, major program reviews and conferences with senior-level key program stakeholders, audits and inspections. This will include planning, coordinating, communicating, executing and facilitating these meetings and reviews, taking minutes and tracking action items through to completion.
  • Assess and review business processes and provide recommended streamlined approaches, instill repeatable, efficient process improvements and quality initiatives Group-wide.
  • Assist with coordinating products through public release and foreign disclosure, to include internally and externally developed materials. Follow process and regulations on to ensure appropriate coordination, markings and distribution.
  • Track and complete Division suspenses, often on short notice, ensuring quality products are approved as necessary and delivered on time.
  • Manage a myriad of ongoing tasks in a high ops tempo environment, using best judgment and prioritizing workload to meet expectations with quality products on time.
  • Must promote and foster communication, establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with a wide range of team members, representatives from functional disciplines.
