Career Opportunities & Employer Relations Job Description
Provide a framework for the effective expansion and development of experiential education opportunities, with particular attention to co-ops and internships. Provide resources to implement effective assessment of the impact of experiential learning on student achievement. Seek out new experiential opportunities, facilitate promotion of these opportunities to increase student participation, and develop and maintain a tracking, reporting, and assessment system to measure student achievement and program success. Additionally, this role will create and manage all department marketing materials, including social media channels, to promote Career Services events and programs, build brand awareness, and engage students and employers. The position involves regular student advising on topics such as resume reviews, job negotiations, practice interviews, and job search resources to support student career success. This position also provides mentorship to students in experiential learning situations, guidance to employers hosting opportunities, and supports general operations of the Career Services department (counseling, programming, recruitment functions). Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $18.61-$25.00 hourly. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
