Training Engineer

Overall Role Description:

This opening is for a Senior level V93000 Customer Training Engineer in the San Jose, CA., area. The successful candidate will provide leading edge V93000 Customer (and internal) training support for a variety of semiconductor customers. The duties include delivering weeklong training courses as well as reviewing training material. Success in this role entails applying their strong background in Semiconductor test to deliver a variety of training technologies (Digital, DC, Analog, Power and RF) to customer engineers. To have a high impact on Advantest's success, the candidate must be able to effectively communicate the written training material and answer students' questions during and shortly after the training class.

Responsibilities:
Deliver no more than 3 training courses (usually each 1 weeklong) per month. The types of training courses are: Smartest 7 & 8 Basic User Training, Smartest 7 & 8 Power Analog Control (PAC) Training, and Smartest 8 WaveScale Training.

• Review new Training material for accuracy, completeness, typos, etc.
• Self-study up on our new, technological advancements in hardware and software.
• Work with the Training Manager on developing new training courses.

Travel:
Some courses may require travel to the Advantest America, San Jose office. There may be some travel to our customers' offices in the United States.
