    Job Summary

    The Value-Based Products Analyst will support innovative arrangements aimed at improving quality, enhancing experience, promoting equity, and reducing costs for patients and members served by Cook County Health (CCH). The Value-Based Products Analyst will support a variety of strategic initiatives spanning Medicaid (CountyCare) as well as CCH's commercial payer relationships and charity care program.

    Typical Duties



    • Conducts research to identify best practices & industry trends
    • Drafts new value-based care proposals
    • Facilitates value-based contracting activities
    • Coordinates efforts across departments, including Operations, Finance, and Legal, among others
    • Provides project management support to launch new value-based initiatives
    • Engages and collaborates with provider groups and other key internal and external stakeholders
    • Attends and participates operational and oversight meetings with value-based partners
    • Analyzes financial, clinical, and operational performance data
    • Prepares and provides quality control for financial, clinical, and operational reports
    • Identifies and implements process improvements
    • Performs other duties as assigned


      Minimum Qualifications



      • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required (Official transcript is due at the time of interview)
      • Two (2) years of experience with health plan operations, such as claims processing, network management, utilization management, care management and/or member services is required
      • One (1) year of experience conducting, reporting, and presenting quantitative analysis is required
      • Experience and proficiency Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Visio) is required


      Preferred Qualifications



      • One (1) year of experience with value-based contracting and/or delegation in a managed care setting is preferred
      • Experience in Medicaid and/or Commercial insurance is preferred

Discharge papers must list and Honorable Discharge Status. Discharge papers not listing an Honorable Discharge Status are not acceptable

      A copy of a valid State ID Card or Driver's License which identifies the holder of the ID as a Veteran, may also be attached to the application at time of filing.

      If items are not attached, you will not be eligible for Veteran Preference
