JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Hopfer research lab is seeking a part-time research assistant to conduct research. The individual will be expected to collect and analyze instrumental data from HPLC, GC, and NMR a day-to-day basis without supervisory input. Routine activities include conducting statistical analysis of collected data, and writing and revising scientific manuscripts upon completion of instrumental and human data analysis for submission to peer-reviewed journals. Experience with Compusense sensory data collection software as well as statistical software (R or Minitab) are desired. Prior knowledge of standard sensory testing methods are strongly preferred.
