JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Nittany Lions Read/Nittany Lions Count Federal Work-Study Program (NLR/NLC) is seeking applicants to join our program for the 2024/2025 academic year.to work in elementary school classrooms in the local community. NLR/NLC students assist and support the classroom teachers, engage directly with the children, and provide one-on-one and/or small-group instruction. Positions are available in both school day and afterschool programs. A commitment of 8-12 hours per week is preferred. Hourly rates for NLR/NLC participants begin at $14/hour.
