JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of Medicine, in Hershey, PA is seeking part Research Assistants. Research Assistants conduct the research in compliance with the protocol and will see participants in the hospital and the community for study visits and assessments. They have the following responsibilities, including but not limited to:
A Bachelor's Degree in Science or Social Science preferred along with an interest in working with hospitalized patients with substance use disorder. Tasks include: -Recruit and schedule subjects for follow up study visits -Maintain the participant database -Material, conduct data collection, monitoring data for integrity -Monitor safety and confidentiality of project and its participants -Assist the principal Investigators with IRB amendments, continuations and renewals --Ensure correct entry of all data and adherence to guidelines of study Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) training provided and is required.
