84 Lumber is seeking motivated and hardworking Truss Builders/Production Associates to join our team. The full-time Truss Builder twill assemble building material components, wood trusses, used in residential and commercial construction. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced environment and are committed to quality craftsmanship.

• Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or truss manufacturing

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.

• Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Read and understand set-up sheets.

Position plates properly.

Operate gantry.

Verify lumber accuracy with sheets.

Verify truss set up is accurate.

Perform daily operator maintenance.

Maintain 100% crew efficiency.

Mark individual trusses when required.

Train Builder Associates.

Able to read and write in their primary language.

Able to stand for long periods of time.

Able to read or able to learn to read a set up sheet.

Able to lift 50 pounds.
