To Plan, Organize And Control The Input, Movement, Process/Sort, And Output Of Various Functions Of Hub Operations To Ensure A High Level Of Service And On-Time Launch At A Minimal Cost. Directs All Other Necessary Activities Which Provide Optimum Service To Fedex Customers. Two (2) Years College/Equivalent In Business. Five (5) Years Business Experience, Preferably Including Two (2) Years Related Experience In Transportation Industry. Ability To Successfully Complete Dg Specialist Training And To Interpret Legal Documentation Regarding Hazardous Shipments, If Required. Strong Basic Management, Human Relations And Communications Skills. Subject To Regulatory Alcohol And Drug Testing, If Managing Dot Drivers. Minimum Education High School diploma/GED. Minimum Experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong basic management, human relations and communication skills. Job Conditions Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Must successfully complete weight and balance training if managing any trunk ramp agents. Preferred Qualifications: ONSITE: The desired location for this position would be Memphis, TN. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx location five days a week.
