About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and collaborative professional to join our team. As an Associate Director, Legal AI Enablement & Support, you will be responsible for helping the firm use AI effectively by developing a detailed understanding of internal usage, needs, and drivers and barriers to adoption, and translating insights into practical enablement strategies.

Success in this role requires strong communication and collaboration, a proactive and adaptable approach, positive working relationships, and a commitment to exceptional results.

This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact and grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with technology teams on usage tracking and analytics and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Partner with Professional Development and IT on training and support needs.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with responsible AI guidelines.
  • Build relationships across practices and business services teams to understand day-to-day AI use.
  • Identify promising internal use cases that may support broader solutions or communications.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree required. J.D., law-firm and/or professional-services experience is a plus.
  • Five or more years of experience in legal operations, professional development, legal technology, training, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate information from multiple sources into actionable insight.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex AI tools and technologies and use cases to drive adoption across the firm.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and their practical applications in legal practice.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Document Management Systems (DMS) including iManage and NetDocuments. Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Harvey AI, frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, and open-weight models, document comparison tools (e.g., Litera Compare), database systems including CMS, Knowledge Management, and Matter Experience platforms, AI consumption-based cost models, and other relevant technologies.
  • Excellent understanding of the Legal Technology and Legal AI market space.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and sound judgment when discussing usage, compliance, and adoption barriers.
