Audiology Tech Support

The Technical Support Audiologist will provide audiological support to hearing care professionals related to our hearing aid technology. Audiologists are the technical service and educational professionals of our organization. Sharing information on hearing instruments, fine-tuning fitting adjustments, and assisting with software issues are primary daily activities within the team. The overall goal of the Audiology Technical Support team is to provide worldclass service and support in all interactions to promote business growth and development.

• Provides hearing aid fitting solutions and recommendations to customers
• Completes technical troubleshooting of instruments and software
• Provides technical assistance with solving issues related to shell and production manufacturing
• Provides training and education programs for both employees and customers
• Promotes and sells various Oticon products
• Establishes collaborative relationships with both our customers and company colleagues
• Position requires travel to attend conventions and seminars as needed

• Candidate must have an Audiology Degree equivalent to M.S./M.A./Au.D. or HIS equivalent
• 1+ years of clinical/field experience in audiological evaluations and hearing aid dispensing
• Proven ability to interact directly with customers and support their needs by providing technical expertise, collaboratively engaging to provide solutions, and building rapport which demonstrates integrity, care and empathy
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proven ability to prioritize, multitask and communicate effectively within the company and with customers
• Demonstrates a positive and professional demeanor with all levels of employees and customers
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels of experience
• Attention to detail and excellent follow up skills
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Flexible team player with ability to function in a dynamic environment
