The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, Electrophysiology (EP) Laboratory, and Pre-/Post-Procedure Unit are fast-paced, highly specialized areas dedicated to providing exceptional cardiovascular care. Our multidisciplinary Heart Team performs a wide range of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including coronary and structural heart interventions, peripheral vascular procedures, cardiac device implantation, electrophysiology studies, and complex cardiac ablations. Team members collaborate closely with interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, anesthesiologists, advanced practice providers, and support staff to deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care from patient arrival through recovery and discharge.

As a Registered Nurse (RN), a typical day may include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes, using your judgment to intervene early and advocate for your patients
• Providing safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands on care grounded in strong clinical judgment
• Serving as a clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers, offering insight that supports timely, well-coordinated care decisions
• Providing clear, compassionate education to patients and families so they feel informed, supported, and prepared for the next phase of care
• Ensuring accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record to promote continuity and patient safety
• Contributing your voice during interdisciplinary rounds, helping drive seamless communication and smooth transitions of care
• Taking an active role in a highly collaborative team environment where shared accountability and teamwork directly impact outcomes

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS certification. An Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification is required. 2 years of Critical Care RN experience within the last five years is required. Recent Procedural or Intensive Care unit (ICU) RN experience within the last five years is preferred. Cardiac Catheterization Lab procedural experience is strongly preferred. An Associate's degree in Nursing is required. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, as is prior patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. This position is Evening Shift, 40 hours per week, 9am-7:30pm.
