Summary of Job

Serve as the organization's subject matter expert on marketing effectiveness and campaign measurement, attribution, and intelligence. Responsible for developing measurement frameworks, establishing campaign performance standards, leading test-and-learn strategies, and delivering actionable insights that optimize marketing investments and business outcomes. Partner closely with Marketing, Digital, Brand, Customer Experience, Product, Analytics, and external agency partners to evaluate campaign performance across paid, owned, and earned channels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain marketing measurement frameworks, KPI definitions, reporting standards, and performance benchmarks to ensure consistent evaluation of marketing efforts across lines of business, audiences, and channels.
  • Establish governance processes for campaign measurement and marketing reporting, ensuring alignment across internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Define success metrics for marketing acquisition, brand, engagement, and retention initiatives.
  • Lead the measurement and evaluation of marketing campaigns across paid, owned, earned, and field channels.
  • Develop and evolve attribution methodologies, measurement approaches, audience impact assessments, and marketing effectiveness frameworks to quantify marketing's contribution to business outcomes.
  • Measure and track key indicators including: Marketing ROI, Cost per Lead, Conversion Rate, Engagement Metrics, Member Retention Metrics, Campaign Reach and Frequency, Brand Health Indicators.
  • Provide ongoing performance analysis and actionable recommendations to improve future campaign effectiveness.
  • Design and lead a structured experimentation framework across marketing campaigns, customer journeys, channels, creative assets, and audience strategies.
  • Develop statistically sound testing methodologies, including control groups, holdout analyses, A/B testing, and incrementality studies.
  • Partner with marketing teams and agency partners to identify learning opportunities and scale successful strategies.
  • Create compelling dashboards, executive scorecards, and performance reporting that synthesize campaign results, customer insights, and business impact.
  • Translate complex data into clear business narratives that support leadership decision-making, annual planning, budget discussions, and optimization efforts.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Analyze customer and member journeys to identify behavioral trends, engagement patterns, conversion opportunities, and marketing effectiveness across key touchpoints.
  • Leverage audience segmentation and behavioral data to develop insights that improve targeting strategies and marketing relevance.
  • Support audience growth, retention, and engagement initiatives through data-driven recommendations.
  • Partner with MarComm Ops, Analytics, and Digital / CRM teams to improve data quality, measurement capabilities, tracking implementation, and reporting automation. Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and enhance accessibility of performance data across the organization.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports while fostering a culture of analytical rigor, experimentation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, psychology, statistics, data science or analytics; Master's degree (Preferred)
  • 5 - 8+ years of experience in marketing analytics, campaign measurement, marketing intelligence, customer analytics, or related fields (Required)
  • Expertise in developing marketing measurement frameworks and performance scorecards (Required)
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL query development and Excel (Required)
  • Experience performing statistical analysis and marketing effectiveness measurement (Required)
  • Experience designing and evaluating test-and-learn initiatives, experimental designs, and control methodologies (Required)
  • Experience building executive dashboards and performance reporting solutions in Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms (Required)
  • Strong understanding of marketing attribution methodologies and campaign measurement best practices (Required)
  • Experience integrating and analyzing data from multiple sources to generate actionable business insights (Required)
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, compelling business recommendations (Required)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and storytelling skills (Required)
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence decision-making without direct authority (Required)
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, accountability, and project management capabilities (Required)
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and CRM analytics (Preferred)
  • Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Adobe Analytics, or similar web analytics platforms (Preferred)
  • Experience with marketing mix modeling, incrementality testing, or advanced attribution methodologies (Preferred)
  • Experience in healthcare, health insurance, consumer services, or other highly regulated industries (Preferred)
  • Experience with SAS or other advanced analytical tools (Preferred)
