Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented Regional Sales Manager for the East coast to join our growing coffee and nutrition company. As a sales manager, you will play a crucial role in prospecting and supporting key accounts by fostering inseparable relationships with customers. The role drives regional revenue, manages key account relationships (e.g., grocery/retail chains), and oversees distributor networks. This contributor role involves executing commercial strategy, negotiating trade, and overseeing field execution to hit volume and profitability targets.

Responsibilities:

* Manage and generate sales revenue, promotions, distribution, and pricing initiatives to sell our portfolio of brands within all key accounts.

* Utilize a proven track record of account management while developing account plans and budgets, prepare and present account reviews, and communicate effectively.

* Build and cultivate effective relationships with key retailers relevant to the respective territory and cater to each account to improve market share and growth.

* Conduct routine meetings with buyers to sell-in new products, programs and promotional activities.

* Work closely with retailers (Ahold-Delhaize, Publix, Market Basket, Wakefern, etc.), distributors (UNFI, KeHE, C&S Wholesalers) and brokers where applicable to align company goals.

* Grow brand market share and increase velocities through product, placement, pricing, and promotion through distribution and space initiatives.

* Works directly with and maintain constant communication with all relevant Sales Ops and Customer Service personnel in the assigned company territory to promote the sale of company brands.

* Maintains consistent category review cycle with all existing accounts and actively prospects against new target account list.

* Analyze and develop sales opportunities from using Nielson or other companies provided with sales/CRM software.

* Partner with Supply Chain to maintain accurate forecasts based on sales trends, promotions, and seasonal changes.

* Perform administrative tasks assigned such as expense reports, monthly calendar, trackers, establish prospect targets, conduct price surveys, and competitive analysis.

* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Reliable transportation and be able to travel (40-50%).

* 10+ years of progressive sales experience in the CPG industry, with at least 4-5 years in a senior leadership role.

* Detail oriented with a strong knowledge of the overall coffee and nutrition categories for retail customers.

* Experience with National syndicated national account sales data and /CRM software such IRI, Neilsen, Circana, and Numerator.

Hours, Location and Pay:

We offer a competitive base pay rate and benefits package for full-time employees. Ability to travel 40-50% to customers and Trilliant Food headquarters in Little Chute, WI.

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds.
