We are looking for a JDE Technical Delivery Manager in 401 N Michigan Ave, Suite 1400, Chicago, IL 60611 USA. Your mission will be to:

The JD Edwards Technical Delivery Manager will be responsible for assisting in the analysis, development, configuration, support, and enhancement of the North American (NA) JD Edwards application in a multi currency and multi company environment. This individual must have strong JD Edwards Enterprise One technical configuration and development experience (8.x and 9.x required). The incumbent will be responsible for managing the JDE team mainly located in the USA, while maintaining a strong interface with the global JDE team in India. This person will actively participate in the successful support and enhancement of JD Edwards (9.2) in North America, which includes sustaining and enhancing the system alongside larger project based releases, implementations, and onboarding of new companies to the JDE environments. Additionally, the incumbent will act as the main business partner with the Finance and Procurement teams, driving process knowledge and requirements discussions.

This role is located in Chicago, IL with a hybrid work schedule.

YOUR PROFILE

Qualifications Required

• Four-year degree preferred or equivalent proven experience; BS in Computer Science, Information Systems is highly desirable. Minimum of 3 years of experience leading JDE technical teams.
• Minimum 10+ years' experience working with the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development toolset in a dev, test, and production environment, and minimum of 3 years of experience leading and managing JDE technical teams.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong presentation skills, in general business and technical environments.
• Proven experience with project management and delivering JDE implementations or onboarding new companies into JDE.
  Strong knowledge of Finance and Procurement business processes and experience leading requirements discussions with key stakeholders.
• Expertise with the JDE EnterpriseOne development toolset (RDA, FDA, OMW, DD, NER, C business functions, JDE cache, Web Services, etc.)
• System function modification and designing, developing, coding, and unit testing JDE Enterprise One 8.x or higher (9.x preferable)
• Demonstrates good organizational skills and efficient/effective management of one's own and other's time.
• Able to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with very aggressive project timelines.
• Management prowess which can be self-motivated, self-directed, and highly responsible for the deliverables from the entire JDE ERP Team.
• Highly collaborative mindset with a strong ability to work as an effective team worker across cross-functional and global groups.

Qualifications Desired

Deep functional knowledge of Finance and Sales & Distribution modules.
Experience with JD Edwards Oracle Database preferred.
Experience with JDE EnterpriseOne CNC tools, a plus.
Experience with Create Forms, a plus.
Experience with Hubble reporting, a plus.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Lead the problem solving and engineering of software solutions within the JD Edwards Enterprise One software application in both functional and development areas. This includes leading the, developing, modifying and extending various other applications that integrate with the JD Edwards system.
Lead the development and support of the JDE EnterpriseOne applications and reports as well as perform routine updates and fixes across multiple functional JDE modules using the JDE developer toolset.
Lead and mentor functional analysts, developers, and technical resources located in the USA, while maintaining a strong interface and collaboration with the global JDE team in India to timely deliver quality code, unit/system testing, technical specifications, and standards adherence.
Ensure detailed functional and technical design documents are used based on approved business requirements.
Lead development design discussion with the global design authority team, and code reviews to ensure quality of all stated designs.
Manage the development and unit test programs according to defined technical designs and stated business requirements.
Lead functional and development application reviews with the IT analysts to insure all designs are built to support stated business requirements.
Ensure development of JDE application code is in adherence to established programming standards.
Lead and participate in the unit and end-to-end testing on all developed applications to insure adherence to QA standards.
Design, develop, and test the integration applications required to support third party non JDE applications within the enterprise.
Manage code deployment through the stated change control and version management process from the development environment through to the production environment.
Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, external consultants, vendors, software and infrastructure engineers, and others to understand and implement new JD Edwards Enterprise One business processes and functionality.
Act as the primary IT business partner for Finance and Procurement teams, facilitating requirements discussions and translating business needs into effective technical solutions.
Lead project management efforts for JDE software implementations, enhancements, and the onboarding of new companies or business units into the JDE system.
Analyze moderate to complex business needs to recommend and design functional or technical solutions.
Lead system and application design, development, implementation, and testing.
Ensure all systemic upgrades to the architecture are documented and train other JDE team members on platform knowledge.
Troubleshoot critical and non-critical production system/application issues and bugs and provide timely responses and resolutions.
Analyze system/application issues to determine/report root cause and support future prevention.
Familiar with and committed to complying with all general IT software project and life cycle management practices. This will include all applicable SDLC policies, processes, procedures, methodologies, lifecycles, etc.
Be an effective advocate for the internal JDE ERP team.
Other related duties as assigned.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position primarily works in an office environment in which surroundings are usually comfortable. This position may spend long periods of time in front of a computer terminal. Physical dexterity is necessary to effectively manipulate a keyboard. The incumbent can expect extended time spent in a sitting position. This position may experience some stress as a result of trying to meet clients' demands that may be on a tight schedule. Occasional adjustment to normal working hours may be needed when working on special projects or to accommodate international time constraints. Travel

Travel may constitute 5% of work time, primarily domestic

Compensation Range: $143,800 - $153,000 per year with potential bonus.
