Job Description: TheShipping Leadsupports the supervisor in coordinating daily shipping operations to ensure orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and within established timelines.

Reports to: Supervisor, Shipping Effective Date:

Job Summary: This position works closely with other departments to locate missing cartons, expedite shipments, and resolve issues that may impact customer expectations.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Demonstrateinitiative, accountability, and leadershipby setting a positive example for other associates.
• Monitor workflow throughout the Shipping Department to ensure daily shipping requirements are met.
• Organize and prioritize work to meet established shipment timelines and customer expectations.
• Provide guidance, direction, and support to shipping staff as needed.
• Communicate changes in workload, priorities, and shipping requirements to department personnel.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.

Training inwarehouse operations.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability tostand and walk for extended periodsduring the workday.
• Ability to regularlylift, carry, push, and pull boxes, cartons, and shipping materials.
• Ability to assist withloading and unloading trucksas needed.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, and climb as required to perform shipping duties.
• Ability to handle and move cartons and packages safely throughout the shipping area.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical activities associated with shipping, sorting, staging, and loading.
• Ability to visually inspect shipping labels, cartons, paperwork, and order information for accuracy.
