Channel Lead On Premise Travel, Sports, and Entertainment

We are currently hiring a full-time, On Premise Channel Lead for Travel, Sports, and Entertainment. This role will oversee a national account base. The ideal candidate must live within the United States close to a major airport, preferably in or between TX and the West Coast*.

The Channel Lead is responsible for increasing availability and visibility of the Boston Beer portfolio of brands within their assigned retailers and channel to generate depletion growth while adding value to our wholesaler and the BBC geo team. This coworker will align with Sales Leaders to execute the programs in their respective footprint. In addition, assist in developing the entire channel.
*A Remote position at Boston Beer requires that the coworker reside in the Continental United States. Remote coworkers may be asked to be onsite throughout the year by their manager or Executive Leadership.

What You'll Brew:

• Be proficient in BBC's systems and selling process with retailers, wholesalers, and team of indirect reports
• Be proficient in beer industry knowledge, brewing, and BBC product styles
• Hunt for new business opportunities while growing current business within your assigned account groups while managing budgets to proper ROI
• Utilize effective verbal and written communication with wholesaler, accounts, and coworkers including ability to deliver impactful presentations
• Maintain and strengthen buyer & wholesaler relationships through strategic selling and superior customer service
• Develop & drive Goals, Strategies, Objectives and Tactics for defined account base
• Effectively mobilize wholesaler network and BBC sales teams to fulfill all BBC mandates, sell vs. authorizations/approved packages, compliance issues, focus timeframes and other key selling opportunities
  

What Ingredients You'll Bring:
Minimum Qualifications:

• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree
• 4+ years sales and/or food/beverage industry experience
• National account management experience
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Adult alcohol industry experience strongly preferred
• 3+ years on-premise national account experience strongly preferred
  

Level: 5IC

At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $105,000 and $184,000. However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance.
