Target hiring range for this position will be $63,480 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Job Summary:

Postdoctoral research associate to join an NIH-funded project investigating the role of alternative splicing coupled to nonsense-mediated decay in vertebrate development and regeneration. A PhD in the life sciences is required. Competitive candidates will have first/co-first author peer reviewed publications, experience with zebrafish, and demonstrated proficiency in bioinformatics and analysis of genomics/transcriptomics datasets.

• PhD in Life Sciences

• Skilled in common cellular, molecular, and/or developmental biology techniques

• Experience working with zebrafish
• First/Co-first author publications

Preferred Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities)

• Hands-on experience with genomics and/or transcriptomics data analysis
• Some coding experience in Python, R etc.
