As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Risk Assessment in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers and team members. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to customers, team members, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including customer concerns, medical events, and potential loss-prevention-related matters.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, receiving areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized access, theft, and other security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and location-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
