Sales Assistant (Regular Full-Time)

FOX Television Stations - New York

Join the team at FOX Television Stations in our New York office, covering markets across the country. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented team player to join our Sales Team, serving as a vital bedrock of our sales success while driving revenue across all broadcast and digital platforms.

As a Sales Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the Sales Team and our efforts to drive revenue across all platforms. Your primary focus will be day-to-day support of National Account Executives and Sales Managers while collaborating with digital sales, traffic, research, and other teams.

What You'll Do

* Support Account Executives with advertising order entry, revisions, and reporting in the WideOrbit Traffic system.
* Communicate with sales representatives and buyers regarding preempts, make-good offers, program changes, late runs, and other account activity.
* Provide weekly advertiser reports, including spot times and post reports.
* Collaborate with sales representatives and buyers to address invoicing, discrepancies, and collection issues.
* Support Sales Management with political advertising, including maintaining contracts, ensuring FCC documentation is complete, and verifying cash-in-advance payments.
* Collaborate with the Traffic department on advertising copy management.
* Support other station departments and initiatives as needed.
* Perform additional projects and duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

* Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with a positive, professional approach.
* Comfortable working with numbers and data with a strong focus on accuracy.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Ability to learn industry software, including WideOrbit, Media Sales, AOS, and other media platforms.
* Strong work ethic and collaborative, team-oriented approach.

* Associate or bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $21.65-24.30 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
