Power Solutions Group Ltd. (PSG), a Sunbelt Solomon company and NETA-accredited service provider, is looking for an Arc Flash Technician to join our team in the Tipp City or Columbus, Ohio area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to break into the electrical field and gain hands-on experience working with commercial and industrial electrical systems. Whether you're a recent trade school graduate, currently in an apprenticeship program, or simply interested in building a career in the electrical industry, we provide the training, mentorship, and real-world experience needed to succeed.

In this role, you'll work alongside experienced technicians and engineers, learning how to collect electrical system data, create one-line diagrams, and support Arc Flash and electrical safety projects. You'll also gain exposure to the NETA testing industry, creating opportunities for future career growth.

What You'll Do

• Learn to analyze commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Assist with creating and updating one-line electrical diagrams.
• Collect field data from electrical equipment while following all safety procedures.
• Open and inspect electrical equipment using proper PPE and company training.
• Identify electrical components and document equipment information.
• Work directly with customers and site personnel in a professional manner.
• Support Arc Flash studies and electrical safety assessments.
• Learn industry standards including NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and NETA practices.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation.

What We're Looking For

• Interest in starting a career in the electrical, power systems, or technical services industry.
• Recent graduate of a trade school, technical program, or electrical training program, or someone pursuing a similar path.
• Willingness to learn and work safely around electrical equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.(revised)
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in industrial environments.
• Ability to travel occasionally and work flexible hours when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical trade school or technical education.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Experience reading basic electrical drawings or schematics.
• Military electrical training or related technical experience.
