Director, Corporate Strategy

As a Director of Corporate Strategy supporting enterprise-wide initiatives, you will help Molex identify where to compete, how to create value, and what capabilities are needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving market. You will partner with senior leaders across divisions, business units, and corporate functions to evaluate long-term growth opportunities, emerging technologies, market trends, and strategic investments. This role is responsible for developing fact-based points of view, assessing complex opportunities and risks, and helping leaders make informed decisions that shape Molex's future direction. The position offers broad exposure across the organization and the opportunity to influence some of Molex's most important strategic priorities.

• Partner with senior leaders across Molex to identify and prioritize the company's most important strategic questions, helping shape decisions that drive long-term growth and value creation.
• Lead strategy projects from problem definition through research, analysis, recommendation development, and execution planning.
• Develop fact-based points of view on emerging technologies, industry trends, new markets, and growth opportunities, translating insights into actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Evaluate where Molex should compete and how it can win across markets, technologies, customer segments, business models, and geographic regions.
• Support development and execution of enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, including AI strategy, capability transformations, and other high-priority leadership priorities.
• Lead or support white-space growth assessments, new business opportunities, and cross-business initiatives that do not naturally fit within a single division or function.
• Build relationships with division presidents, business unit leaders, and functional executives to help align priorities, evaluate tradeoffs, and advance strategic initiatives.
• Partner with Corporate Development, Finance, and business leaders to assess investment opportunities, strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and other value-creation initiatives.
• Conduct financial and strategic analyses to evaluate business cases, test assumptions, assess risks, and support capital allocation decisions.
• Develop outside-in perspectives on markets, competitors, technologies, and industry dynamics to help Molex anticipate opportunities and challenges before they emerge.
• Translate complex and ambiguous topics into executive-ready recommendations, presentations, and decision frameworks that enable leaders to move from insight to action.
• Help drive execution by converting strategic direction into initiatives, ownership structures, milestones, success metrics, and operating plans that deliver measurable business impact.

• A minimum of two years of post-MBA or equivalent professional experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development, business strategy, or other highly analytical, cross-functional roles.
• Experience leading fact-based strategy work, market assessments, business cases, investment evaluations, transformation initiatives, or other complex business challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to work across multiple businesses or functions, quickly learn new contexts, and create value in ambiguous environments.
• Structured and logical thinker with the ability to identify core business issues, focus on what matters most, and drive value-creating decisions.
• Strong analytical capabilities with experience leveraging quantitative data, financial insights, market research, and strategic frameworks to inform decisions.
• Powerful written communication skills with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, executive-ready recommendations and action plans.
• Strong verbal communication skills and experience presenting and defending recommendations with senior business leaders.
• Proven ability to build trust, influence without authority, and drive alignment across functions, business units, and leadership teams.

• Demonstrated ability to lead or support complex cross-functional strategic initiatives that deliver measurable business impact.
• Prior experience in enterprise strategy, corporate strategy, strategy consulting, corporate development, business transformation, or other cross-functional strategic roles.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders to address ambiguous, high-impact business challenges and develop fact-based recommendations.
• Experience across multiple strategy disciplines such as growth strategy, market expansion, portfolio strategy, M&A strategy, operating model design, commercial excellence, or business transformation.
• Ability to connect insights across businesses, markets, technologies, and capabilities to develop an enterprise-wide perspective.
• Proven ability to translate strategic ideas into execution, driving alignment, accountability, and measurable business outcomes.
