The Sanmina Fremont facility is a full-service enclosure systems solution manufacturing plant. Located in California's Silicon Valley, this facility produces low-to-mid volume New Product Introduction (NPI) runs to full-scale volume. The Fremont facility offers everything from small piece parts to fully integrated and tested systems. In addition, this location offers in-house painting capabilities and flexible logistics solutions in distribution, inventory management and hubbing, as well as repair services.

Job Purpose:

We are seeking an exceptionally organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to our Vice President of Business Operations. In this role, you will act as a primary point of contact, manage complex schedules, coordinate cross-functional operational workflows, and support key business initiatives to ensure the VP and operations department function smoothly and efficiently.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:



  • Manage the VP's dynamic and complex calendar, prioritizing meetings, resolving scheduling conflicts, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Serve as the primary administrative liaison between the VP, internal leadership, project teams, and external business partners; screen and prioritize incoming emails, calls, and requests.
  • Assist the VP with tracking operational KPIs, monitoring project milestones, and compiling operational updates from departmental heads.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, gather briefing materials, record actionable minutes, and track follow-up tasks for key operational meetings and leadership reviews.
  • Draft and format high-quality emails, memos, operational reports, and slide decks for leadership presentations.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel itineraries, manage logistics, and prepare timely expense reports for the VP.
  • Handle sensitive business data, performance metrics, and confidential strategic plans with complete discretion.


Education and Experience:



  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred).
  • 2-4+ years of administrative experience, preferably supporting senior management or operational teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides skills required).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • High degree of professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion when handling confidential business information.

Salary Range (annual): $56,160 - $70,720 ($27.00 - $34.00). Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
