THE OPPORTUNITY: As Director of Sales & Marketing, you will serve as a key member of the hotel's executive leadership team, developing and executing the property's sales and marketing strategy while leading a talented commercial team. We are looking for a leader who is equally comfortable analyzing market performance, developing strategy, coaching a sales team, and personally engaging with key customers and community partners. Own the Commercial Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy designed to maximize revenue, market share, and profitability across key business segments. Lead and Inspire: Build, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team while creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, urgency, and results. Understand the Market: Leverage competitive intelligence, market trends, customer insights, and performance data to identify new opportunities and position the Washington Dulles Marriott Suites for continued growth. Build Strategic Relationships: Develop and strengthen relationships with key corporate accounts, meeting planners, associations, government organizations, travel partners, and community stakeholders throughout Northern Virginia and the greater Washington, D.C. region. Drive Results: Maintain a disciplined approach to prospecting, account development, conversion, forecasting, and sales execution while ensuring the team remains focused on the hotel's highest-value opportunities. Make an Impact: Serve as an influential member of the hotel's executive leadership team, partnering closely with Operations, Revenue Management, Crescent leadership, and Marriott resources to achieve the property's business objectives.
