We are seeking an experienced PPC / SEM Specialist with strong hands-on Google Ads expertise to manage and optimize paid search campaigns. The primary focus of this role is Google Ads campaign management, including campaign setup, optimization, keyword strategy, bidding, budget management, performance analysis, and ongoing testing. The ideal candidate has deep practical experience in Google Ads and can independently manage campaigns while using performance data to identify opportunities, troubleshoot issues, and make strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

Google Ads Campaign Management - Primary Focus

• Manage Google Ads campaigns from setup and launch through ongoing optimization.
• Build and maintain campaign structure, ad groups, keyword targeting, match types, negative keywords, bidding strategies, budgets, and ad assets.
• Conduct keyword research and develop keyword strategies aligned with business goals.
• Create, test, and optimize search ad copy and assets.
• Monitor campaign performance, pacing, budgets, and spend.
• Identify and resolve campaign issues that may impact delivery or performance.
• Continuously optimize campaigns to improve traffic, conversions, CPA, ROAS, and overall efficiency.

PPC / SEM Strategy & Optimization

• Analyze campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations.
• Test keywords, ad variations, bidding strategies, audiences, and campaign structures.
• Identify opportunities for campaign expansion, refinement, and improved targeting.
• Evaluate search trends, competitive activity, and keyword opportunities.
• Recommend budget allocation and optimization strategies based on performance.
• Stay current with Google Ads platform updates, automation, bidding technology, and SEM best practices.

Analytics & Conversion Tracking

• Use Google Analytics/GA4 and Google Ads reporting to evaluate campaign performance and user behavior.
• Monitor key metrics including impressions, CTR, CPC, conversion rate, CPA, ROAS, and impression share.
• Review conversion tracking and identify potential measurement issues.
• Analyze performance trends and translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Monitor the relationship between paid search activity, website traffic, and conversions.

Reporting & Collaboration

• Develop and maintain campaign performance reports.
• Clearly communicate campaign results, insights, challenges, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Partner with marketing, content, and web teams to improve campaign performance and landing-page effectiveness.
• Coordinate paid search efforts with broader marketing initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on PPC/SEM experience, with strong expertise managing Google Ads.
• Proven experience independently managing Google Ads campaigns from setup through optimization.
• Strong knowledge of Google Ads campaign structure, keyword strategy, bidding, budgets, ad copy, and optimization.
• Experience with Google Analytics/GA4 and conversion tracking.
• Strong understanding of PPC performance metrics and campaign reporting.
• Experience conducting keyword research and competitive analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to turn performance data into actionable recommendations.
• Ability to manage budgets and make optimization decisions based on campaign performance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain the reasoning behind recommendations.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of campaigns.

Preferred Qualifications

• Google Ads certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Advertising/Bing Ads.
• Experience with SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar SEO/SEM tools.
• Experience with Google Tag Manager.
• Experience with landing-page optimization and CRO.
• Experience managing multiple campaigns or accounts in an agency environment.
