Position Description:
Assist with implementation of project-specific Quality Control Plan, including planning, monitoring, documenting, and reporting compliance of contract requirements.
Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with implementation of project-specific Quality Control (QC) Plan and scopes of work and work procedures in
coordination with project safety plan. - Develop working knowledge and understanding of contract documents (including Turner's contract, plans, specifications and applicable codes).
- Perform basic material delivery inspections in collaboration with Project Superintendent and Trade Foreman to confirm
compliance with approved submittals. - Prepare for and attend First Work In Place (WIP) Observation with project team.
- Perform daily basic quality follow-up inspections on-site.
- Document, track, and record compliance with contract documents and provide input to improve processes, including photos.
- Assist project team with development of Definable Features of Work (DFOW) Log.
- Prepare for and attend pre-installation meetings to support communication of scope expectations to trade partners.
- Attend Mock-Up review meetings.
- Assist with third party testing, inspections, and process reports.
- Gain exposure to engineering procedures, including document control, submissions management, creation and tracking of Request for Information (RFIs), material samples, documentation and tracking of potential cost changes, and documentation and tracking of approved change orders.
- Establish working relationships with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors and vendors to ensure project-specific QC Plan delivers a fully compliant project.
- Understand project execution plan and assist with coordination of QC procedures at appropriate stages of work.
- Assist with completion of Daily Construction Reports (DCRs) and punch lists.
- Document all non-compliant materials and/or workmanship and document compliance after completion of corrective work prior to starting any subsequent work.
- Research additional QC and lean procedures to recommend quality enhancements.
- Assist with completion of project closeout and quality reports.
- Other duties, activities, and responsibilities as assigned.
The salary range for this position is estimated to be 83,000.00 - 100,000.00 USD annualized. |

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from accredited degree program with minimum of 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of
education, training and/or experience - Construction experience with exposure to both field and engineering responsibilities, required
- Basic understanding of construction process, means and methods, and materials, their characteristics, installation procedures and tolerances.
- Understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule
- Basic computer skills, MS Office skills, and ability to navigate project management software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Limited Travel.
