This position in the D377 Project Engineering Team, a growing, high profile department is for enthusiastic individuals looking to integrate themselves with operations supervision in planning, preparing, and executing ship construction on the COLUMBIA Program. Engineers will be co-located with operations while they identify and overcome hurdles in upcoming planned or unplanned work. Trades assigned include Pipe Fitters, Steel Trades, Electricians, Pipe Welders, Sheet Metal Fabricators, and Machinists. The ideal candidate is able to work independently, is a self starter, team player, and has strong critical thinking skills with a positive questioning attitude. This role will be working in the Reactor Compartment, Engine Room, and ship exterior to help achieve key milestones. Responsibilities of this Position Include:
Building and maintaining a strong working relationship with the trade group and trade supervision (General Foreman) assigned
