Staff Product Designer (Mobile App)

Aquent is partnering with a major Health Tech company to find a Staff Product Designer for a temp-to-perm opportunity. In this high-impact role, you will shape and drive user-centric design solutions for complex healthcare challenges, directly influencing products that transform patient outcomes and care delivery.

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
• Be able to work on a W-2 basis (C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product design initiatives from initial discovery and research through execution, iteration, and final handoff.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, data science, and clinical partners to translate complex requirements into intuitive user experiences.
• Architect user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and design specs for complex digital health tools and systems.
• Advocate for user needs by conducting or synthesizing qualitative and quantitative user research, usability testing, and analytics.
• Champion, expand, and maintain design system components and standards to ensure scalability and brand consistency across platforms.
• Mentor and elevate junior team members while establishing design standards, best practices, and strategic frameworks.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or digital product strategy.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a track record of launching complex, human-centered digital products from concept to scale.
• Advanced proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, FigJam).
• Proven experience building, applying, or maintaining scalable design systems.
• Demonstrated success in cross-functional environments, managing stakeholder alignment and communicating strategic design decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience in healthcare, digital health, health tech, or regulated industries.
• Deep understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
• Experience designing for multi-platform ecosystems (iOS, Android, and web).

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $80-$100/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
