The targeted hiring range for this full-time position is $54,800 - $71,200 depending on qualifications; however, the expanded salary range provides opportunities for advancement. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and job location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, competencies, experience, and relevant education, training or a combination of these things and market demand. Job Description

Red Wing is seeking an Account Coordinator to join our Direct-to-Consumer team, supporting our Industrial and Direct to Consumer channels.The Mobile Account Coordinator supports the onboarding, activation, and ongoing management of mobile service accounts by partnering closely with Inside Sales, Operations, and other cross-functional teams. The role helps facilitate a smooth transition from prospect to active customer, ensuring schedules, resources, and internal communications are aligned to deliver a high-quality customer experience and support business growth. The coordinator assists with new-account activation and conversion, partnering closely with the Inside Sales team and other departments to help move opportunities from prospect to active account while supporting operational readiness and alignment across the organization.

Essential Duties include:

Scheduling and Capacity Management

  • Oversee company truck calendars and maintain an accurate view of availability, capacity, and scheduling needs.
  • Identify scheduling gaps, underutilized assets, conflicts, and opportunities to improve truck utilization.
  • Notify the Industrial team when additional business is needed to fill available capacity.
  • Assist with scheduling, routing, and calendar adjustments as operational needs arise.
  • Communicate schedule changes and capacity concerns promptly to relevant stakeholders.

Cross-Department Coordination

  • Serve as a bridge between the Industrial and DTC teams during new-account development and implementation.
  • Partner with the Inside Sales team to support account conversion efforts and align operational capabilities with sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate internal discussions to evaluate prospective accounts and determine operational requirements.
  • Identify available trucks, equipment, personnel, and other assets needed to support new business.
  • Confirm company capabilities and capacity before commitments are finalized.
  • Maintain clear communication among Sales, Inside Sales, Operations, Scheduling, and account stakeholders.

New-Account Activation and Conversion Support

  • Assist with moving new accounts from opportunity to activation.
  • Partner with the Inside Sales team to support the conversion of qualified prospects into active accounts by coordinating timelines, resources, and internal handoffs.
  • Assist with coordinating onboarding requirements, timelines, resources, and internal assignments.
  • Track each new account's progress and communicate issues that could delay implementation.
  • Help ensure operational details and customer expectations are documented and communicated.
  • Support the transition of new opportunities into active, successfully serviced accounts.
  • Monitor initial service activity and assist in coordinating corrective action when needed.

Reporting and Process Improvement

  • Provide regular updates on truck availability, scheduling gaps, new-account status, and conversion progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of account requirements, assigned assets, launch dates, and outstanding tasks.
  • Identify recurring scheduling or onboarding challenges and recommend process improvements.
  • Help develop consistent procedures for evaluating, activating, and transitioning new accounts.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three (3)or more years of experience in customer service, scheduling, coordination, operations support, sales support, or supporting cross-functional sales teams is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of customer service, account support, scheduling, and coordination processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, schedules, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers, sales teams, and operational partners.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to identify issues and coordinate appropriate solutions.
  • High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
  • Ability to build collaborative working relationships across departments and functions.
  • Strong customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering a positive customer experience.
  • Ability to prioritize work independently and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Teams, and the ability to learn new software and systems.
  • Ability to analyze scheduling, account, and operational information to support effective planning and resource utilization.

Work Environment:

This role is fully remote and operates within U.S. Central Time (CT) business hours, giving you the flexibility to work from any state where the company is authorized to conduct business and employ workers. Limited travel may be required during onboarding, training, and other business-related activities.
