Description
Educational Outside Sales Representative
Build relationships. Grow a territory. Help students create something they'll remember for a lifetime.

If you're competitive, creative, relationship-driven, and looking for a sales career where your work has a real impact, this could be a great fit.

As an Educational Outside Sales Representative with Walsworth Yearbooks, you'll own and grow a territory of schools while serving as a trusted partner to yearbook advisers and students. You'll combine consultative sales with hands-on coaching, helping schools create successful yearbook programs while building long-term customer relationships.

This isn't a traditional sales role. One day you may be helping students improve their yearbook design or photography. The next, you may be working with an adviser on deadlines, marketing, or budget challenges, followed by a meeting with a prospective school to earn their business.

You'll have the opportunity to make an impact, build lasting relationships, grow your territory, and increase your earnings through uncapped commission.

What You'll Do
Own and Grow Your Territory

  • Manage and grow an established portfolio of school customers
  • Prospect for new business and expand Walsworth's presence within your territory
  • Build strong relationships with teachers, administrators, students, and other school partners
  • Meet or exceed sales and customer-retention goals

Become a Trusted Yearbook Partner

  • Guide schools through the yearbook process from planning through completion
  • Help advisers and students stay on track with deadlines, budgets, and production goals
  • Provide coaching and feedback on photography, design, journalism, marketing, and yearbook sales
  • Help customers troubleshoot challenges and keep their yearbook programs moving forward

Teach, Coach, and Inspire

  • Work directly with students and teachers in classroom settings
  • Lead training sessions, workshops, and seminars
  • Help yearbook staffs strengthen teamwork, organization, creativity, and business skills
  • Serve as a mentor and resource throughout the school year

Manage the Business

  • Coordinate with Walsworth production and support teams to help ensure successful publications
  • Maintain accurate customer information and activity in Salesforce
  • Travel throughout your territory to meet with current and prospective customers
  • Manage multiple school projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
