As a Security Guard Armed Mobile Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established armed response protocols and escalating matters to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a financial institution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Have at least four years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
