Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a School in Everett MA

Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3 PM

Starting Pay is $21.04 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

As a Security Officer in Everett, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in an educational setting, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support students, staff, and visitors through professional communication and customer service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or families by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established school and Allied Universal protocols.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing guests, and report access-control concerns to designated personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to school administration and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
