As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Control Patrol in Concord, NC at Amazon Warehouse, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Patrol Officer for a dynamic technology location. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. You will document activity, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach.

Pay Rate: $18.36 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and exterior grounds to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and authorized entry in accordance with site-specific procedures, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding observed conditions, incidents, and security-related policy concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
