The unit also provides care for urology patients, contributing to a dynamic and diverse patient population. This unit is characterized by high patient turnover, as many procedures are outpatient or short-stay surgeries, with most patients discharging within 24-48 hours. Successful care delivery relies on strong interdisciplinary collaboration, particularly with Physical Therapy and Case Management, to ensure safe mobility, timely discharge planning, and smooth transitions of care. Toward the end of the week, the patient mix may shift to include increased emergency department admissions, medical overflow patients, and individuals awaiting skilled nursing facility placement, adding variety and complexity to daily workflows. This position is afull-time Day shift working with 3-12 hour shifts from 6:00 AM-6:30 PM. We offer self-scheduling for shift and weekend coverage. Scheduled workdays may vary, as there are no set or fixed days.Weekend and Holiday Rotations are required in this role. Weekend shift differentials are offered, along with evening and night shift differentials where applicable. Great care starts with great people. (Like you.) Provides patient related care tasks based on the principles of growth and development across the life span of patients served in his/her independent unit. Assists, observes, and reports patient changes to licensed caregiver and maintains accurate medical record documentation relative to the care delivered.
