RF Firmware Engineer Job Locations
US-Remote
Overview LMI is seeking an experienced RF Firmware Engineer to support the continued development of our next-generation mesh networking hardware for Department of Defense customers. This engineer will serve as the technical lead for RF firmware development, working closely with our hardware design partners to integrate new radio technologies into our platform while maintaining performance, reliability, and security. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of embedded firmware, RF communications, and hardware development. You will collaborate with internal engineering teams, external design firms, manufacturing partners, and customer stakeholders to deliver production-ready capabilities that support mission-critical deployments. U.S. citizenship is required. Candidates must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. An active Secret or Top Secret clearance is preferred. Approximately 20-30% travel to customer sites, integration events, hardware design reviews, manufacturing partners, and field testing activities as required.
