Position Purpose:
The Pricing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely execution of customer pricing across internal systems. This role supports the implementation of approved pricing, maintains pricing and customer master data, resolves pricing and invoicing issues, and partners with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing accuracy, operational efficiency, and a high level of service to internal and external customers.
Duties, Tasks, and Responsibilities:
- Execute approved customer price changes and maintain pricing records and price lists within internal systems.
- Process pricing requests and ensure timely and accurate implementation.
- Maintain and update pricing calendars to support scheduled pricing activities.
- Research, investigate, and resolve pricing discrepancies and system-related pricing issues.
- Maintain customer master data, including new customer accounts, locations, and vendor setup information.
- Process customer-requested product additions, deletions, and assortment changes.
- Validate and implement index-based pricing updates to ensure pricing accuracy.
- Track and maintain customer pricing records and pricing history.
- Review pricing-related deductions, short pays, and invoice discrepancies, partnering with internal teams to resolve issues.
- Research and resolve pricing and invoicing exceptions to ensure accurate billing.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc pricing reports to support business needs.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, IT, and other cross-functional teams to ensure accurate pricing execution and continuous process improvement.
- Identify opportunities to improve pricing processes, data quality, and operational efficiency.
Education, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in pricing, sales operations, customer service, commercial operations, or a related business function
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience working with SAP or a similar ERP system preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and work independently
