  • Team Management: Oversee the Shop Foreman(s) and Shop Services Clerks; handle employee feedback, performance management, and mentorship.

  • Compliance: Uphold rigorous benchmarks for workplace safety and ensure all processes adhere to relevant industry standards (e.g., UL 508A).

  • Technology & Tooling Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend specialized tooling, fixtures, or automation opportunities that can streamline panel fabrication and kitting processes.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to build strong, trusting relationships with both shop craftworkers and operations teams.

  • Strong proactive problem-solving abilities, with a willingness to challenge the status quo constructively.

Working Conditions:

  • This role divides time between a professional office environment and an active manufacturing floor. The split is roughly 60% office work and 40% manufacturing floor support.
