About the Role

The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing, strategizing, and optimizing the day-to-day operations of our research lab, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This person drives efficiency, manages resources, and fosters collaboration across departments to enhance overall productivity and success.

This is a full-time, onsite position with the flexibility to provide evening or weekend coverage in the event of an emergency. This role supports research lab operations - it does not involve conducting research directly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the organization's objectives.

  • Streamline workflows and procedures to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

  • Ensure products and services meet quality standards through regular monitoring and continuous improvement.

  • Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.

  • Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

  • Ensure operations comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.

  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.

  • Liaise between departments to facilitate seamless operations and communication flow.

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred, with 5+ years of research lab operations experience.

The salary range for this position is $86,334 - $125,184 based on total years of related experience and internal pay equity considerations
