13* Position Summary
The General Business Analyst role on the Commodities Team in Supply Chain is responsible for ensuring the availability of materials and inventory required to support ongoing business operations and strategic initiatives. This role monitors inventory and commodity performance and works to identify and mitigate potential supply risks that may impact business needs. The position serves as a key liaison between business units, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, developing strong working relationships and becoming a trusted partner in understanding operational requirements, project demands, and material needs. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams, the General Business Analyst provides insights, coordination, and support to ensure timely material availability, effective inventory management, and alignment with organizational objectives. Working Environment
Indoor work, operating computer, manual dexterity, talking, hearing, repetitive motion. Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer and calculator.
Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business related events in and outside of service area. After hours work may be required. Physical Demands
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
