Location: Dayton, TX

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Day Shift | 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Every third weekend on-call rotation

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical school, vocational training, or industrial maintenance certification preferred.



Experience Requirements


  • Minimum 3 years of experience maintaining plant equipment
  • Experience with mechanical and electrical repairs on industrial machinery
  • Previous experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts preferred
  • Stable work history required
  • Basic computer skills preferred


Job Duties


  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on facility buildings and equipment
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machinery and plant equipment
  • Assist with preventive maintenance programs and equipment upkeep
  • Carry tools and equipment to and from work areas
  • Dismantle, move, and reassemble machinery and equipment as needed
  • Clean machinery and prepare surfaces for repairs
  • Monitor, maintain, and replenish lubrication systems on plant equipment
  • Perform general facility and grounds maintenance tasks
  • Operate oil vacuum systems to remove used lubricants
  • Operate overhead cranes during maintenance and repair projects
  • Fabricate equipment using blueprints, schematics, and measuring instruments
  • Utilize grinders, cutting torches, plasma cutters, and welding equipment
  • Operate forklifts and manlifts for maintenance activities
  • Use electrical testing equipment including voltage detectors, meggers, LCR meters, and oscilloscopes
  • Maintain compliance with ISO quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies
  • Complete maintenance paperwork and work orders accurately


Preferred Qualifications



  • Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related technical environment is preferred.
  • Experience performing preventative maintenance programs and responding to equipment breakdowns is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or fabrication is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Maintenance Technician.


Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
  • Manual dexterity to operate tools, perform repairs, and inspect equipment.
