General Purpose:
The Caser / Break Relief Employee supports production operations by operating casers, ESL filling equipment, coding systems, and packaging equipment while providing relief coverage for employee breaks and lunches. This role ensures product quality, sanitation, safety, and efficient production operations. Schedule: Monday - Friday 10:00pm - 6:30am Off Saturday and Sunday Job responsibilities include:
- Operate box-forming and casing equipment.
- Operate ESL filling equipment.
- Set up and operate coding and marking equipment.
- Follow all GMP and food safety procedures.
- Perform product sampling and maintain required documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of production and warehouse areas
- Provide break and lunch relief coverage for production employees.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks following certification requirements.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisors or management.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Able to be company certified user of material handling equipment such as forklift, pallet jacks, barrel trucks, reel dollies, and reel clamps.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to use and understand Plant equipment
- Able to operate production equipment, components, and peripheral accessories
- Able to effectively work in a team environment
- Able to follow directions and carry out instructions
- Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
- Able to take appropriate steps to find solutions to problems
- Able to perform task and duties under general supervision
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
