Job Posting: Account Specialist II *Position Title:* Account Specialist II
*Location:* Bannockburn, IL (Virtual with occasional onsite requirements) *Employment Type:* Contract/Full-Time (as applicable) About the Role We are seeking an experienced *Account Specialist II* to support Account Executives and Brokers on assigned commercial risk accounts. This role is responsible for managing key account processes, supporting client-facing and internal activities, and ensuring the timely delivery of services through effective collaboration with internal teams and outsourced Aon Client Services (ACS) partners. This position is primarily virtual; however, candidates must be local to the *Bannockburn, IL area* and flexible to attend onsite meetings or office visits as business needs require. Key Responsibilities * Assist Account Executives and Brokers with servicing commercial insurance accounts. * Identify, retrieve, and manage compliance documentation required for renewals, invoices, surplus lines filings, and other client service deliverables. * Support policy renewals by initiating processes and ensuring timely completion of required activities. * Process invoices, endorsements, vehicle suspensions, auto ID cards, emergency certificates, and other client requests. * Resolve premium account discrepancies and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate account administration. * Maintain accuracy and completeness of data within systems of record, including *Bridge* and *Broker Desktop*. * Respond promptly to field office requests and service inquiries. * Coordinate with outsourced service providers to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely completion of deliverables. * Upload, index, and maintain documents in the Document Management System. * Conduct pre-renewal account reviews with field offices to ensure client expectations and delivery timelines are met. * Prepare policy summaries, schedules of insurance, premium allocations, and perform quality reviews of post-placement documentation. * Manage and complete special client projects as assigned. * Participate in client meetings and office visits as needed. * Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members on complex account functions. * Assist colleagues in troubleshooting and resolving client service issues. Required Qualifications * Active *Insurance Brokerage License* or ability to obtain/maintain required licensing. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across multiple teams. * Proficiency with *Microsoft Office Suite*, particularly *Excel*. * Experience in insurance administration, account management, or commercial insurance support. * Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Experience with document management systems and account servicing processes. Preferred Qualifications * Commercial insurance brokerage experience. * Knowledge of policy administration, renewals, endorsements, invoicing, and surplus lines processing. * Experience using insurance platforms such as *Bridge*, *Broker Desktop*, or similar industry systems. * Project management experience and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
