Requisition Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated professional with strong critical thinking skills. The team member with utilize his/her skill sets to identify process improvements, perform financial analysis and implement best practices as part of a collaborative team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Purchasing team and PACCAR Truck divisions. This position is seated at PACCAR North Texas in Lewisville, Texas or PACCAR Corporate in Bellevue, Washington.

Job Functions / Responsibilities
  • Partner with Purchasing leadership and PACCAR divisions to provide financial analysis, forecasting, and insights that support sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and business decision-making.
  • Develop, analyze, and communicate timely and accurate component cost forecasts, identifying key risks, opportunities, and drivers impacting financial performance.
  • Support cost reduction initiatives by tracking supplier pricing actions, analyzing cost changes, and measuring progress toward company cost targets.
  • Perform financial analysis of suppliers, including financial statement reviews, to assess financial health and identify potential supply base risks.
  • Manage supplier surcharge activities and retroactive pricing adjustments.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting for Purchasing and corporate finance leadership.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives by leveraging advanced analytics, automation, AI tools, and data-driven solutions to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and business outcomes.
  • Support internal control activities, including SOX compliance and financial process reviews.
  • Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives supporting PACCAR's operational and financial objectives.
Qualifications
  • 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Advanced Excel skills required; experience with complex formulas, Power Query a plus. Experience with automation tools and AI-enabled business applications are highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining a strategic, business-oriented perspective.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to business partners and leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience driving process improvements
Education
  • BA in Accounting or Finance with five years of relevant work experience.
  • MBA, CPA, or CMA a plus.
