Your Job

Guardian Glass is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team in Richburg, SC.

In this role you will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of environmental, health, and safety systems across the site. You will help ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal EHS regulations while partnering with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams to build capability and support a proactive safety culture.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and deliver EHS training while partnering with employees at all levels to strengthen EHS capability and foster a culture of safety and compliance.
  • Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and proactive risk-reduction efforts to improve site performance and prevent recurrence.
  • Conduct inspections, audits, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
  • Support key safety and occupational health programs, including lockout/tagout, confined space, hazard communication, PPE, respiratory protection, and other site-specific initiatives.
  • Support environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance by maintaining required permits, records, reporting, and documentation across environmental and occupational health programs.
  • Assist with environmental programs related to air quality, Title V permitting, waste management, stormwater, hazardous materials, spill prevention, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Provide EHS support to plant operations and other projects as needed to help drive safe, responsible, and compliant business outcomes.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience working in an EHS role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience managing compliance with Title V permits.
  • Working knowledge of EHS laws, regulations, and programs that may include OSHA, EPA, RCRA, stormwater, greenhouse gas, hazardous waste, or EPCRA.
  • Ability to maintain EHS records and support reporting requirements for permits, safety programs, environmental programs, and occupational health programs.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience leading, improving, or developing EHS initiatives, programs, training systems, and compliance processes.
  • Experience with NPDES permits, Title V permits, Large Quantity Generator operations, TRI reporting, emissions inventory, greenhouse gas reporting, biennial hazardous waste reporting, Tier II reporting, and discharge monitoring reports.
  • Experience performing job safety analyses and supporting behavioral-based safety practices is preferred.
