| Position Summary |
Responsible for developing, directing, implementing and maintaining a comprehensive compliance program for assigned sports and areas that will ensure the institution's adherence to Southeastern Conference,
CSC, and
NCAA regulations.
This position is responsible for controlling, monitoring and ensuring compliance with the rules and regulations of the
NCAA,
CSC, and
SEC by assigned departmental staff, coaches, student-athletes, and representatives of athletics interests. Also responsible for designing, directing and implementing education programs and seminars for student-athletes and staff on a regular basis regarding the high priority placed on
NCAA compliance. This position will serve as the direct liaison and oversee the compliance program for assigned Olympic sports and areas to ensure compliance with
NCAA,
CSC, and
SEC rules and regulations. |

Serve as the primary compliance liaison for assigned Olympic sports and additional areas (e.g., Student-Athlete Advisory Council). Work closely with assigned coaches and staff in assigned sports and areas to ensure compliance with
NCAA and
SEC rules and regulations, including providing rules education, making interpretive determinations, responding to interpretive inquiries, requesting waivers from the
NCAA and
SEC, and investigating, determining, and reporting rule violations. |
