www.uamont.edu Summary of Job Duties:The University is seeking a Systems Support Assistant to provide front-line support for student information, HR, Payroll, Finance, and related enterprise systems. In this entry-level role, you will assist users, resolve common issues, and help maintain accurate data and efficient business processes across student and employee systems. Responsibilities include handling routine support tickets, assisting with system access and navigation, reviewing and correcting basic data issues, and identifying whether problems stem from user error, data inconsistencies, process gaps, or system functionality. Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Computer Information or computer related field is required. Successful candidates will bring strong communication and customer service skills, a logical, step-by-step approach to troubleshooting, and careful attention to detail when working with sensitive data. Preferred qualifications include prior experience in IT support or customer service, familiarity with enterprise or higher education systems, and basic experience with Excel or data tools. Daily work will involve responding to tickets, supporting users, documenting solutions, and identifying recurring issues to improve processes. This role offers opportunities for continual growth, with an emphasis on learning enterprise systems, building technical skills, and contributing to ongoing process and data quality improvements.
