Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist

Green Road Animal Hospital in University Hts is hiring a
part-time veterinary front desk receptionist
to provide outstanding client service and support clinic operations. The ideal candidate will be warm, organized, and able to handle a variety of administrative and customer-facing duties while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor in a busy veterinary setting.

Key Duties
:
• Answer and manage multiple incoming phone lines promptly; route calls appropriately and record accurate messages for veterinarians and staff.
• Book and manage appointments, process reminders, and assist clients with scheduling concerns using our computer system.
• Welcome clients and their pets on arrival, perform check-in procedures, and collect relevant patient histories for the medical team.
• Prepare and maintain neat, organized files and records; ensure confidentiality and proper documentation practices.
• Clean and sanitize exam rooms, waiting area, and administrative spaces to ensure a safe, hygienic environment.
• A ssist with light office tasks such as filing, copying, and supply inventory as needed.

Qualifications & Traits
:
• Comfortable working with computers for scheduling, record keeping, and communication; basic typing and data entry skills required.
• Excellent interpersonal and phone skills; ability to empathize with pet owners while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced workplace.
• Prior experience in a veterinary clinic is advantageous but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided.

Working Conditions
:
This is a part-time position with variable shifts. Must be willing to work occasional weekends or evenings as clinic needs dictate.
