Performing shipping and receiving duties, the Storekeeper also cycle counts inventory, receives and stocks inventory parts. Duties and Responsibilities * Issues parts and tools to Technicians as needed or directed by Supervisors and Engineers. * Performs periodic stock counts, issues and credits parts and tools and prepares proper documentation. * Accepts material from carriers, signs for the material and loads/unloads material. * Inspects material for damage and ensures completeness of shipments. * Properly prepares and packages material for transport including preparing the necessary company and carrier documents. * Initiates and completes all required documentation * Maintains storage facilities including racks, shelves, bins and other locations. * Performs light mechanical assembly tasks. * Operates forklifts, pallet movers and other material handling equipment. * Light cleaning duties * Performs other related duties as required. Qualifications and Experience: * Inventory and inventory control experience is a must. * Must be able to work in a 24/365 work environment. Variable hours and shifts. * Must possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record. * Must pass 10-year background check for SIDA badging * A combination of education and experience may be acceptable. * Industrial stores experience is preferred. * 2-4 years computer experience required -spreadsheets experience a plus. * Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team with minimum supervision. Education * High School Diploma or equivalent.
