Faculty Position in the Division of Sleep Surgery Caruso Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery University of Southern California, Los Angeles, California The USC Caruso Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery seeks a board-eligible or board-certified Otolaryngologist with fellowship training and expertise in Sleep Surgery, or both Sleep Medicine and Sleep Surgery, to join our department. We are seeking an innovative clinician-scholar with demonstrated expertise or strong potential in sleep surgery, including contemporary approaches to the surgical management of obstructive sleep apnea and related sleep disorders. We seek faculty members whose career goals include excellence in patient care, research, and clinical teaching. Clinical responsibilities will include the evaluation and treatment of adult patients with sleep-related breathing disorders, including the performance of advanced sleep surgery procedures. This physician will closely collaborate with Sleep Medicine physicians and participate in the USC Multidisciplinary Sleep Center. Clinical duties will involve seeing patients in our various USC clinics, with surgery performed at Keck Medical Center of USC and other USC-affiliated hospitals. There is a strong opportunity to start a fellowship program if the candidate desires. Faculty rank will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate. The annual base salary range for an entry-level rank is $330,000 - $350,000. Supplemental incentive compensation will be added in accordance with the departmental compensation plan.
